Jensen’s svær er en nicheproduktion – med både detailsalg og engroshandel.

I dag drives virksomheden af indehaver Per Jensen, som er søn af Sigurd Jensen, der oprindeligt fik idéen med at producere hjemmelavede flæskesvær. Det hele startede som en simpel produktion i store gryder hjemme i eget køkken på Frederiksbergvej i Randers, som til stor glæde for naboerne medførte masser af smagsprøver, hvor Per Jensen til gengæld fik input og kommentarer for sværene retur. Dette betød, at Per Jensen fik en gylden mulighed til at forfine hans opskrift og produktion.

I dag er produktionen blevet opskaleret så den passer til det større aftag af svær, og derfor benyttes nu faciliteterne på Hovedvejen 11 i Allingåbro. Hvad fremtiden bringer er ikke fastlagt, men der er dog et klart ønske om at fastholde den gode smag og kvalitet, som kendetegner Jensen’s svær allerede i dag.
